When we cousins were young, we often spent Sunday afternoons at Bampy & Nana's home on Kirby in Detroit. As you can imagine the noise level would get a little high after a while with so many grandchildren visiting. Uncle Ed in all of his infinite wisdom would pull out a shiny penny and say, "Whoever can be the quietest for the longest gets to keep this penny!" We cousins tried our best to become the new owner of that wonderful penny! I didn't realize for quite a while what a wise man he was!! He was always fun to be with!
