Jerry was a step father to me for about 5 years when I was a young kid. He was always good to my brother and I. He used to tell me often that sharing is caring. 30 years later I still carry and use that statement to this day. Jerry was a great man.

As a young man I recall the passing of Jerry’s father who as fate would have it was on a hunting trip with Jerry and his grandson Mark. I was unsure at that time in my life how to mention the passing of his dad, I told him how sorry I was and Jerry with a big smile said “well the old boy died in the woods with his boots on! We should all be so lucky!” Happy hunting in your next journey Jerry.
