I am sad to hear of Cheryl's passing. She meant a lot to me when I lived in Michigan. I will keep everyone in my prayers.

I moved up to Michigan in 1999 and was working at the Marshal Airport where I met her son Mike who shared the same passion for flying as me and we became good friends. I always remember how nice she was whenever I came over to hang out with Mike. She always had some fresh snacks available and made me feel at home and even gave me some needed advice here and there. It wasn't long before I called her my "Michigan Mom" because my parents were still living in Tennessee and it was great to feel like part of the family. I knew how much Mike loves his Mom and one day back in 2000 I flew him all the way to Jackson, and we took a cab to go see his Mom in the hospital. I will never forget her for her generosity and honest opinions and will always have a place in my heart.

Mom I miss you like there is no tomorrow but I know that your pain and suffering is now over. But you were too young to leave this world but again it is not my decission the lord is in control and we have to always remember this mom you will be missed by many but i will always hold you in a special place in my heart FOREVER I love you sooooo very much.
