Obituary for Larry Earl Simpson
Larry Earl Simpson, 82, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Monday, February 11, 2019. He was born on November 1, 1936, the son of the late Oscar Simpson and Joyce Ann (Lancaster) Simpson. Larry served our county in both the US Navy and US Marine Corps. After his military service, he served the city of Battle Creek as a firefighter for 25 yrs.
Larry is survived by his wife Iris Lavonda (Stairs) Simpson of Battle Creek, Michigan; son, Shad (Tami) Simpson; daughters, Iris Ann (Robert) Thurber, K-marie (Robert) Burrow, Jennifer (Scott) Sackrider, and Bonnie (Terry) Seitler; grandchildren, Joshua (Melissa) Simpson, Jessica Simpson, Connor Logan, Alex Logan, Corrin Logan, Kelsey Sackrider, Austin Sackrider, Kalli Sackrider, Justin (Jessica) Seitler, Dana Seitler; two great-granddaughters, Maven Parker and Jadelyn Seitler. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, John Ira Collins, brothers, David Simpson and Scott Simpson.
