Obituary for Linda F. Bates (Lake)
Linda F. Bates, 71, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Monday, January 14, 2019 at University of Michigan Health Systems. She was born on June 3, 1947, the daughter of LaVern Lake and AnnaMae (Krem) Lake.
Linda is survived by her Husband of 25 years - Thomas E. Bates; Daughter, Penny Bates; Son, Jerry (Kitty) Bates; Sister, Rita "Becky" Drake; Brother, Lewis (Sharon) Lake; Special Friend, Judy Abel and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her Father, LaVern Lake, Mother, AnnaMae Lake, Son, John "Bubba" Bates, 5 Brothers and 3 Sisters.
Linda enjoyed playing bingo, taking trips to the casino, volunteering for CIR, and hosting/organizing family parties. She especially loved her family, spending time with them and watching them grow over the years.
